The RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn EcoDiesel isn’t just one of the most luxurious pickup trucks on the market; its diesel engine also makes it one of the most fuel efficient. The level of detail on the Laramie interior is remarkable. Once upon a time only cars were subject to these high levels of luxury, now the big trucks get the high end treatment. Base price starts at about $50k. The remarkable fuel efficiency comes via a 3.0 liter V-6 EcoDiesel engine that makes 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of torque and gets 19 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard.
