2016 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang Track Test

The Shelby GT350 that Ford is producing for the 2016 model year is the fastest road course Mustang that has ever been produced. The North American Track Tour gives prospective consumers the chance to come out and test drive this Pony on the tracks all around the country. Owners of previous performance Mustangs like the Boss 302 or the Shelby GT500; you were given the chance to register and come test drive the next generation of Ford’s performance Mustang. So how do you create a Shelby GT350? First you start with the current Mustang which is a world-class sports car, then everything from the A-Pillar forward has been changed out in favor of speed and track performance. Also out back much of the car has been upgraded too. Features include a 5.2 liter flat-plane crank V-8 engine that makes 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, a limited slip differential out back, and a MagneRide suspension.
